Splatoon 3’s Golden Egg Feast 2026 takes place on November 7 from 10:00 a.m. to noon Pacific Time. Registration closes at 9:30 a.m. PT that day, before the Salmon Run tournament begins. Players can enter Solo, Pair, Trio or Team divisions.

How and when to register
Nintendo’s official rules say registration opened October 26 at 9:00 a.m. PT and runs until November 7 at 9:30 a.m. PT. Use Tournament Manager within SplatNet 3 in the Nintendo Switch App. All players must register; forming a group alone does not complete that step.
Choose the division for your group size: one, two, three or four players. Our practical suggestion is to settle the group and complete registration before tournament morning, then leave time to check account access and connectivity.
Who is eligible for tournament prizes?
The rules require legal residence and participation from the US, Canada or Mexico. The minimum age is 13 in the US and Canada, or 18 in Mexico. Players need legal access to a Switch system, Splatoon 3, a Nintendo Account, reliable high-speed internet and any Nintendo Switch Online membership, including an eligible trial. A parent or guardian must complete registration for a minor.
Those prize eligibility rules are narrower than Nintendo’s separate participation-points description. Read the rules for your situation before entering.
How Salmon Run scoring works
The event announcement describes a two-hour, Top Score competition using the most Golden Eggs in four shifts and most scale points in one shift. The rules add that only cleared shifts count; defeats incur penalties. Divisions are ranked separately.
That makes survival relevant as well as collection. Treat safer wave completion as something to discuss with teammates, rather than assuming a risky egg grab is always the best choice. This is an inference from the scoring rules, not a tested tournament strategy.
Stage details and rewards
Nintendo says the stage, supplied weapons and King Salmonid will appear in Tournament Manager within one week of the event. The prize list includes a themed chair, trophies, bags and pins, with rewards depending on placing. Eligible participation can also earn 50 My Nintendo Platinum Points, expected to be claimable around November 14 PT.
Our Nintendo Switch Online membership guide explains the plan options. An Expansion Pack upgrade is not required just for this event’s stated membership condition.
